The company was established in 1994 with Barbara Orton’s BAFTA Award winning film ‘In Cuba They’re Still Dancing’.

It was through making this film we discovered the international market. ‘In Cuba’ was made for the BBC and distributed worldwide to TV broadcasters across Europe and Australia, and continued showings at festivals.

Since then we have become known for human interest, thought provoking films of quality with international appeal.

This success has been achieved by working with regular and valued Freelancers at home, with a strong network of production partners, broadcasters, and crew internationally.

Our project ‘I Nearly Died Laughing’, has enabled us build an exciting team of specialist researchers, producers and fixers from Scotland to Gaza to Iraq to Turkey to bring an authenticity and creativity to our whole film-making process.
